Our Model

Transforming Potential into Impact

A proven, nationally scaled girls-led innovation ecosystem — active across all 13 regions of Burkina Faso — that has already trained 400 Digital Solution Builders who have deployed 50+ community digital solutions.

Our Innovation Pathway identifies promising girls, equips them with STEM, digital, leadership, and innovation skills, and empowers them to become Digital Solution Builders capable of designing and deploying practical solutions to real challenges in their communities. More than a training program, our ecosystem develops girls who do not wait for change to happen. They design it, lead it, and make it happen. DIGIT PUGSADA

Where Potential Meets Possibility

DIGIT PUGSADA, which means "Young Girl" in Mooré, is the entry point to the IMPACT DIGIT GIRLS Innovation Pathway. Designed as a national inter-school STEM competition, it helps girls discover their talents, explore their potential, and envision themselves as future innovators, leaders, and problem-solvers.

Active across all 13 regions of Burkina Faso, DIGIT PUGSADA reaches girls in urban centers, rural communities, and areas affected by displacement, ensuring that geography is never a barrier to opportunity. Through STEM challenges, robotics, artificial intelligence, digital tools and creative problem-solving, participants strengthen critical thinking, teamwork, communication, and leadership.

More than a competition, it is a national talent discovery platform. The most promising participants advance to the IMPACT BUILDERS Challenge, where the next generation of Digital Solution Builders begins its transformation from talent to impact.

Discover Talent. Unlock Potential. Inspire Future Leaders.

IMPACT BUILDERS CHALLENGE

Where Potential Becomes Commitment

The IMPACT BUILDERS Challenge is the national gateway to the Innovation Pathway, identifying the most promising girls and young women across Burkina Faso. In its inaugural 2025–2026 edition, the Challenge attracted more than 1,600 applications from all 13 regions, selecting 400 of the country's most promising young women leaders — one of the largest girls-led innovation competitions in the country.

Candidates are evaluated on their ability to identify real community challenges, propose technology-enabled solutions, and demonstrate the leadership, creativity, and determination required to carry those solutions from idea to deployment.

Every participant, whether selected or not, leaves with stronger problem-solving skills, greater self-confidence, and a deeper belief in her own potential. For many, this is the moment when potential becomes purpose, talent becomes commitment, and ambition becomes action.

Select Talent. Ignite Leadership. Build Changemakers.

IMPACT BUILDERS

Where Talent Becomes Impact

Selected through the national Challenge, 400 young women from all 13 regions enter an intensive one-week immersive program that transforms talent into action. Through expert-led workshops, peer collaboration, university mentorship, and one-on-one coaching, participants develop digital skills, leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, and solution design grounded in real community needs.

This is the moment participants stop seeing themselves as users of technology and embrace their new identity as Digital Solution Builders. In its inaugural edition, 400 Digital Solution Builders collectively deployed 50+ community solutions, reached 4,100+ verified beneficiaries, and demonstrated that one focused week of training can change thousands of lives — at a cost of less than US$2 per beneficiary.

Build Skills. Design Solutions. Create Impact.

Accelerate Innovation · Build4Care

BUILD4CARE INNOVATION LAB

Where Learning Becomes Action

At the heart of the Innovation Pathway is the Build4Care Innovation Lab — a community-centered innovation space where Digital Solution Builders transform knowledge, leadership, and creativity into practical solutions. Unlike traditional innovation labs, Build4Care focuses on innovation built around people, not technology — solutions are developed with communities, not for communities.

Supported by a network of professional experts, technical mentors, university partners, and community specialists, participants gain hands-on experience designing, testing, and preparing more than 50 digitally enabled community-based solutions addressing education, disability inclusion, women's empowerment, entrepreneurship, digital literacy, psychosocial wellbeing, access to information, and community resilience.

Digital Marketing & Women's Empowerment

Prisca Bassolet trained 250 displaced women in Manga Region in Kokodunda fabric production and digital marketing.

Digital Inclusion for Disabilities

Nematou Ouadigabou & Sara Appiou trained 60 persons with disabilities in Pô Region in digital tools and mobile technology.

Digital Learning & Wellbeing

Faouzia Koussoubé equipped 265 students in Koudougou Region with digital skills and psychosocial resilience.

Transform Knowledge. Co-Create Solutions. Accelerate Impact.

Strengthen Resilience · Community Impact

COMMUNITY IMPACT

Where Innovation Creates Change

The solutions developed through Build4Care do not remain in the Lab. They move into communities, where Digital Solution Builders deploy and adapt their initiatives alongside local stakeholders, institutions, and community members — working directly with women entrepreneurs, persons with disabilities, students, teachers, internally displaced persons, and community leaders.

Through the Community Impact stage, more than 50 community-based solutions have been deployed, reaching more than 4,100 verified direct beneficiaries across all 13 regions of Burkina Faso, including:

986
Displaced women
219
Persons with disabilities
912
Women entrepreneurs
936
Girls trained in ICT
1,153
Schoolchildren

Community Impact shows what happens when girls are given the skills, opportunities, and trust to lead — communities become more resilient, more inclusive, and better prepared for the future.

Deploy Solutions. Strengthen Communities. Create Lasting Change.

Transform Communities · Future Leaders

FUTURE LEADERS

Where Impact Becomes Legacy

The Future Leaders stage represents the culmination of the Innovation Pathway — where Digital Solution Builders evolve beyond individual projects to become mentors, role models, innovators, advocates, entrepreneurs, and community leaders who inspire the next generation. Benicia KINDA, Founder and President of IMPACT DIGIT GIRLS, is herself living proof of this model — a girl who transformed her potential into a nationally recognized movement at the age of sixteen.

Every Future Leader multiplies impact beyond herself. By mentoring new participants, sharing knowledge, and opening pathways for others, she helps create opportunities for the next generation. This multiplier effect means that with every new cohort, the movement grows stronger without requiring proportional increases in resources — delivering measurable results at a total program investment of roughly US$2 per direct beneficiary.

Because when one girl succeeds, she inspires others. When hundreds of girls lead, communities transform. And when a generation of girls is empowered to innovate, serve, and lead, they become a force capable of shaping the future of a nation.

Lead Forward. Inspire Others. Build the Future.
